Revolutionary Technology BBB Business Review

What is the success rate of Seattle Data Recovery?

While other companies claim a generic 99% success rate, Seattle Data Recovery is the only firm to win the Consumer Choice Award for Business Excellence in North America. We maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Solid State Drives (SSDs) are lightning-fast and are typically used to store your most critical, frequently accessed data—like your operating system, daily work documents, and sensitive financial spreadsheets. When an SSD fails, the panic isn't just about losing the data; it's about who might see it during the recovery process.

If you are dropping off your SSD at our Regus Business Center location, the bustling environment might make you feel like your private files are exposed. Let's break down that paranoia and show you why your data is 100% safe with Seattle Data Recovery.

  • The Regus Drop-Off is Strictly Administrative: Please rest assured that the Regus staff does not perform data recovery. They are our trusted reception team. Their only job is to collect basic contact info for your appointment (name, phone number, and email), take your SSD, place it on a secure shelf, and return it to you later. Seattle Data Recovery does not share your data with Regus, ever.

  • A Strict "No-Click" Policy on Personal Files: Our technicians are experts in rebuilding the complex NAND flash memory chips inside your SSD, but they have zero interest in your personal files. We never open documents, videos, images, or folders.

  • How We Prove Success: We want you to feel confident before you pay, but we refuse to compromise your privacy to do it. Instead of opening files, we simply take a screenshot of your folder directories. This shows you that your file tree is intact and recovered, without exposing the contents within.

  • Your Data Stays Yours: Once recovered, your data is transferred to a new replacement drive and handed back to you. We are in the business of restoring data, not brokering it. We never sell customer information, data, or intel to any outside organizations.

  • Strict Deletion Protocols: We keep a temporary backup of your recovered SSD data for 30 days just in case you experience issues with your new drive. After 30 days, it is permanently destroyed. Need more peace of mind? Just let us know, and we will destroy our copy immediately after your recovery is complete.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
